Shawn is a great Hickory Dickory Dock Mouse.

Two little kittens have lost their mittens! Ashlyn and Mia had a great time at

the nursery rhyme carnival!

Ashlyn won a spider ring in by tossing spiders into a web.

Mick's the Itsy Bitsy Spider who climbed up the

water spout.

What a wonderful time we had at school today! It was the Pre-k Nursery Rhyme Carnival and we started the morning with a parade to several of our classrooms to recite nursery rhymes
and sing traditional songs. We went back to the classroom and 6 different centers were set up for the carnival. My wonderful parents, grandparents, and older siblings volunteered and manned the different activities. There will be more pictures tomorrow!

Making a Pinata

We are making a pinata. We dip newspaper into some flour and water and put it on a beachball. After it dries, we will make it into a spider, The Itsy Bitsy Spider.

We are washing the pumpkins with water and soap. On Friday, we are going to take them home.

My name is Ashlyn and I love my mommy and my daddy. I like to read books at school. I like to eat lunch, my favorite is spaghetti! I like to sit in the teacher chair and read books.

Sawyer is my friend, she plays with me on the playground. Her favorite food is ice cream!
Brayden and I play in the blocks with the road. His favorite food is SpongeBob crackers.

I like eating my pancakes in the morning. I put syrup and butter on them. I can eat 1 big pancake. I drink sprite with my pancakes.

Blogger of the Week

My name is Bailey and my favorite thing to do at school is to play with blocks, in the grocery store, and in the writing center. I like to go to music with Mrs. Carpenter and do the bear hunts. I like to play with the trucks in the block area, my favorite is the digger truck.

My name is Brayden. I like to draw in the writing center. At the art table I made a pizza, it had cheese on it. It was not real, it was made out of paper. I just like to do my job.

Exciting Week in Pre-K

This week we made homemade pizza, paper pizzas, and read the books,The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza and Pete's a Pizza. We also had Kids on the Block perform to our class and they talked about manners. Our family homework was to find 2 rhyming words and oral presentations went well. We had a wonderful week learning about friends.

I made this pizza myself. It tasted good, my favorite part was the cheese, I had cheddar cheese on mine.
